• Sketch5: The Pumpkin Carving / Sculpture of your choice

Today's Activities

DLT: By the end of class, students will be able to create Fancy Text using Photoshop. They will demonstrate this by finishing a PS Test Tutorial.

1. If you have NOT done so yet, add the Pumpkin Carving / Sculpture of your choice to your Artist Studies Google Doc and document the source of your image
2. How to use Other Photoshop Tools Including the Brush Tool
3. Continue working on Photoshop Text Tutorials with a Halloween Theme.
   The more you complete, the more points you will earn.

DLT: By the end of class, students will be able to apply an Effect using Photoshop. They will demonstrate this by applying at least one Effect on their practice collage.

1. Finish Paychecks 8, Begin Paycheck 9
2. (From Last Week) Layer Mask Review - Two Vids and Additional info on Adobe Help online
3. Finish the Practice Collage. It should be an PSD that is 8 x 10 in & 150 ppi with a portrait orientation
   Save and Turn in as PracticeCollage-YourName.psd - See Practice Collage Checklist (Rubric)
   • Include as text, you first initial last name - Ex: D Pearson
   • Use at least 5 layer masks
   • Use at least 1 smart filter
   • Use at least 1 effect
   • Combine at least 5 images. Use only the images linked below for your class:
     • p2 - Practice Collage Images
     • p3 - Practice Collage Images
     • p5 - Practice Collage Images
4. Turn in the Practice Collage using this Google Form
5. Begin a Photoshop Text Tutorial with a Halloween Theme

1. Make a copy of this gDoc, Name it Collage Images Your Name and share it with dandabikeman. Then submit to the Jupiter Assignment - Collage Images gDoc.
2. Complete the Layer Mask tutorial
   Save your Tutorial as LayerMaskTut-YourName.psd
3. Update or revise your Artist Studies Google Doc to include the artist in this order:
   Romare Bearden on top, then Henri Matisse, Seveso, Banksy, Rivera, Da Vinci, Warhol, and Picasso (on the bottom). Make sure to document the source of each image. Then ask to have it re-graded (as well as past paychecks)
